Truth!

So I'm getting ready this morning to head over to the dog park with Wilson. I put my shirt on backwards then thinking I should change it and then I thought I don't really care what other people think. Earlier this morning I saw a news blurb about Biden recently leaving a Congressional Medal of Honor ceremony early .... just walking out like he didn't care. I don't know if that's the truth or not. I really don't. All I know and remember is my Mom told me: "Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see!"

I think that's some pretty darn good wisdom. The true message for me to remember is that we live in a world of fakeness and untruths from the government, educational institutions, some churches and some communities. In addition, some fraternal organizations and ALL NEWS AGENCIES distort the truth!!!

We don't know the truth. And like that movie quote by actor Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men - "You wannna know the truth? YOU can't handle the truth!" Thus, America is stuck in the ostrich syndrome all the while sticking her head in the dirt. The escapism dirt of cell phones, social media, tattoo mania, food coma, gotta have "the latest see me and won't cha notice me thing...!"

Will any good come of that? Not really.

Come on America! I know we can do better and we deserve better! Patriots get off your apathy and let's take it to the streets!
